Like many people, Covid has affected me.
As a photographer who started off on their wedding journey in the thick of the pandemic, I’ve learned that it’s not about the grandiose displays on your wedding day. Rather it’s about the love between you and your partner, as well as the love between you and the people who are dearest in your life, supporting you and lifting you up.
First and foremost, I approach weddings as a documentary photographer. I am an attentive fly-on-the-wall, there to capture the moments of the day as they unfold. Yes, I’ll give directions for you and your boo during your structured time together in front of the camera. Sure, I know how to gather everyone towards a meeting pointing to get those family photos happening within the allotted time frame. But ultimately, I am looking to document and preserve the candid moments as they become memories.
